The Institute has achieved incredible accomplishments for the people of Illinois. To name a few:
The Illinois progressive tax ballot measure was rejected by taxpayers in November 2020.
After bringing to light the story of Michael J. Madigan in the 2016 documentary “Madigan: Power. Privilege. Politics.”, Michael J. Madigan is no longer the Illinois House Speaker after 36 years in power, and he resigned as a state representative after 50 years in office.
The voices of 70+ Illinoisans have been amplified through their Your Story campaign.
